By winning both team and individual Silver medal at the 2014 World Championships in his homeland Normandie, Patrice Delaveau added two more titles to his already impressive hit list. Although he is part of the international show jumping scene since more than twenty years and won already team Bronze at the 1986 WEG and team Silver at the 2010 WEG, the past two years have been the most successful of his career. In 2013 he was crowned king of Hong Kong as he won four out of the six Masters classes with his beautiful Lacrimoso. With his powerful Orient Express he then went on and won the La Baule Grand Prix, went third in the Aachen Grand Prix, ended up first with the French team in the Furusiyya Nations Cup final, won again in Helsinki and so on. There is barely a jump-off without this brilliant yet down to earth rider. 2014 is the year of the coronation : he's sacred Vice World Champion in individual and by team with his awesome Orient Express*HDC. During the next year, he has showed that he is a one of the rider to count on in the major event, always ranked in five stars classes and really quick on the ground with powerful and charismatic horses like Ornella Mail*HDC and Lacrimoso 3*HDC. He ends particularly well the year 2015 by winning the Longines Grand Prix during the Longines Masters of Paris, after winning the Gucci Gold Cup during the Longines Masters of Los Angeles. In 2016, he won for the second time the Derby of La Baule with his impetuous mare, Ornella Mail. Always a serious competitor since the begining of the Longines Masters, will he be even better this year?
