Born in Miami, Florida, Margie Goldstein-Engle began riding at the age of 9 years. As her parents were not involved in the domain of equestrian sports, she worked for many years in kennels in order to pay for her riding lessons. These initial difficulties have not prevented her from having an exemplary sporting career. More than 210 Grand Prix victories, ten times named Rider of the Year by the AGA, over 20 victories in Nations Cup and many individual and team titles in major championships, Margie imposed her style and sense of humor in the world of equestrian sports. Even now, she continues to compete on the international stage and shares her experience with the younger.
