Another star of Dutch riding, Gerco Schröder is a real champion. He won his first individual Gold medal at the European Young Riders Championships in 1996. And so began a steady rise to the top. In 1999, he was double European Young Riders Champion in the individual and team competitions. In 2006, he became World Team Champion. In 2007, he became European Team Champion. He has also appeared in seven World Cup finals and was selected to compete at the Athens, Beijing and London Olympics where he and is beautiful and well-named BWP stallion London won two Silver medals. The couple was once again selected to represent the Orange team at the WEG in Normandy in 2014 where they won team Gold and that is not the only team success since the Olympic Games. Gerco participated to the gold medals at the Nations Cup Final of Barcelona in 2014 and 2015, and at the European Championship of Aachen in the summer 2015. Having lost his major partnership with Eurocommerce and so several of his horses, he has now rebuilt a great horse team that help him come back on the international scene.
