Since he became individual European Champion in 2009, Kevin Staut has been in the top 10 of the ranking list even being world number one for several months. Member of the Silver medalist team of both the 2010 and 2014 WEG, he is one of the most valuable members of the French show jumping squad winning the Aachen Nations Cup and then the Nations Cup final in Barcelona. With his charismatic grey mare Silvana he ended up third in the 2013 World Cup Final and has won many Grand Prix like the ones of Bordeaux, Stuttgart and especially the Masters Grand Prix in Paris, delighting the French crowd. 2014 is also a good year for Kevin. After he won the LGCT Paris Eiffel Jumping with Silvana*HDC, he contributed to the team silver medal at WEG in Normandy with Rêveur de Hurtebise. Since then, he has been a little bit unfortunate with horses getting injured but always keeping his head out of the water and trying his best to stay among the world's best riders. The French team can count on this rider to always deliver the perfect round and do his perfect job in the major events. Since July 2015, his luck came back and he finished 2nd of the Dinard Grand Prix, he also finished 5th in the Oslo World Cup Grand Prix in October. 2016 started well for him by winning the World Cup Grand Prix of Bordeaux with Rêveur de Hurtebise *HDC and taking the 2nd position in the Longines Hong Kong Masters Grand Prix. Last summer, his work has been rewarded: he won an Olympic gold medal with the French Team.
