At the Longines Masters of Hong Kong, children are VIP

10 January 2018 - EEM World

One of the many joys for those involved in the Longines Masters of Hong Kong is seeing the faces of young fans light up with excitement when the world’s best show jumpers – and their magnificent steeds – appear out on the course for competition. It’s a thrilling – and for many of the youngsters – unique experience. But the Longines Masters of Hong Kong experiences offers so much more and part of what makes the weekend so very special is how it caters for fans of all ages.

The Longines Masters of Hong Kong is truly a family affair and across the weekend the future generation of Hong Kong’s equine enthusiasts have their very own, tailor-made series of events, fun and games laid out within the Prestige Village. All in all, it’s the full VIP treatment with local partners Little Big Events and the Kids’ Zone ensuring there is always something going on. Little Big Events says that – as experienced children’s entertainers – they understand children need a combination of both unstructured and structured activities in order to suf ciently satisfy their constant need for stimulation. Hence there is everything from face painting sessions to arts and crafts sessions.

The Longines Masters of Hong Kong recognises that entertainment comes in many forms – that variety is indeed the spice of life – so head on down to the Kids’ Zone and join in the fun. This year the Longines Masters of Hong Kong will be supporting the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals as its partner charity while Longines Masters organisers EEm’s global cause for the season is autism. The Tung Wah Group of Hospital will as well hold activities inside the kid’s corner and give the kids the chance to learn how to create nger puppets and photomontages.
